2. Editorial Mission
2.1. Editorial Mission Statement
The Media Outlet shall disclose its editorial mission statement which shall be consistent with the fundamental ethical principles of trustworthy journalism, and, as described in the Preamble, should incorporate principles of: ethical practice, good governance, self-regulation and Engagement with the public. A Media Outlet shall set out how it proposes to uphold these journalism principles through its Editorial Guidelines and processes which shall include arrangements in relation to internal accountability and of appropriate external accountability (see clauses 9 – 15). Best practice is to have these arrangements codified and made available publicly.

The editorial values of LTV as a public media organization are:
1) Freedom of Expression: Public media do not tolerate external or internal censorship of content and avoid self-censorship.
2) Independence: Public media are editorially independent and do not submit to the interests, influence, or interference from state authorities, local authorities, political parties, religious organizations, business interests, groups, or individuals.
3) Truth: The pursuit and disclosure of truth is the ultimate goal of professional journalism.
4) Integrity and Openness: Public media employees act openly and honestly, adhering to high ethical standards.
5) Accountability: Public media take responsibility for the content they produce.
The professional principles of public media are accuracy, objectivity, separation of fact from opinion, diversity of opinion, creativity, avoiding stereotyping and audience engagement.
